Server: sherri.machighway.com

Expected Outage: 15 – 30 Min. Reason: Reboot to repair kernel Mismatch

Action required by Customer: None.

Additional Details:

During repairs earlier today, our technicians discovered a kernel mismatch which has potential to bring down the server and cause further problems. A reboot of the system is expected to fix this mismatch and stave off future unplanned outages.

We appreciate your patience as we make these necessary and pro-active changes.

We know all about not crossing a black cat, but we’ve never heard anything about not doing required server maintenance on Friday the 13th. So we’re going to give it a shot.

Our technicians will be performing a MySQL upgrade on sherri.machighway.com, terri.machighway.com and luann.machighway.com on the morning of Friday, December 13 at 2:00 AM mountain time and on jasper.machighway.com, kirk.machighway.com and kodos.machighway.com on the morning of Monday, December 16 at 12:00 AM mountain time.

** Issue on edna.macHighway.com

I wanted to update our customers on edna.machighway.com. After several hours of searching, we’ve finally been able to identify a database error on edna.machighway.com that is causing problems with a small minority customers receiving email, as well as issues on site components that rely on MySQL to work, including some WordPress sites, forums, Joomla, etc.
